Max gruv Welcome Guide:

Essentials for your Journey 🇲🇽

Welcome to the inner circle. We’ve put together this quick guide to help you navigate your arrival and prepare for the four-day immersion into the heart of Mexico City.

🛬 Arrival & Transport
Airport Options: You can fly into either AICM (the central airport) or AIFA (the newer northern airport). Both are suitable, though transit times to the Historic Center will vary depending on your choice.

Getting to the Center
Uber: This is often the most convenient method. Download and set up the app before you arrive. Note: At some airports, you may need to walk to a designated “Rideshare” pickup point.

Authorized Taxis: Look for the official taxi kiosks OUTSIDE the terminal by the pick up area. Pay at the counter first, then take your receipt to the taxi line outside.

💳 Money & Connectivity
Cash is King: While many places in the Historic Center accept credit cards, you will need Mexican Pesos (MXN) for street food (like our Map Point at Axoli Rosticeria!), local markets, and smaller shops.

ATMs: We recommend using ATMs located inside bank branches during daylight hours for the best rates and security. We will have specific ATMs that charge the lowest fee per transaction available as as we get closer to the event.

Data: Ensure your roaming plan is active or consider an eSIM (like Airalo) so you can access maps and logistics on the fly.

🏨 Staying in the Center
The max gruv experience is centered in the Historic City Center (Centro HistĂłrico). We recommend booking accommodations within this zone to stay close to the rooftop sessions, secret parties, and early-morning transport departures.

Many hotels are at a higher price at the moment as it is Easter weekend, you may find airbnbs within the Historic Center or the Roma neighborhood or the condesa neighborhood all of those are within the area since it will be very busy time it’s best to stay within 5 km of the historic Center.

⚠️ Important Reminders
Arrival Date: Plan to land by April 1st. Our first experience departs at 7:30 a.m. sharp on Thursday, April 2nd. If you are late, the boat leaves without you!

Ticket Transfers: If you sell your pass, you must email us with the new attendee’s name.

Paisa Pass Holders: Have your official Mexican ID (INE/Passport) ready for the Welcome Packet pickup.
