Where To Visit
The Templo Mayor or what remains of the main building of the ancient city of Tenochtitlan is located in the Historic City Center. It was commonplace for Conquerors to build upon historic mecca’s of
vanquished cultures. It was only discovered in the early ’70s when they were excavating for the underground subway. Museum tour included in All Access Pass.
Templo Mayor
The Historic Center of Mexico City blends Aztec ruins with Spanish colonial architecture alongside modern buildings. Centered around the massive Zócalo, featuring the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Palacio de Bellas Artes where they laid Frida Kahlo in state the day she got her wings. Tour of Palacio de Bellas Artes included in All Access Pass.
Centro Histórico
Salon Bach is a legendary underground haunt in Mexico City’s historic center that blends dark, true-crime history with a modern, eclectic vibe in the basement of the Art Deco Bach Building (erected in 1901), this bar feels like a 1930s speakeasy or a dream sequence from Twin Peaks. The VIP section remains largely untouched since the days when icons like José Alfredo Jiménez, Agustín Lara, and various Mexican presidents sipped drinks here. While it honors its brothel-style roots, it now pulses with energy from Afro House, techno, and live band nights. The bar’s most famous (and macabre) draw is the assassination of Guty Cárdenas, the “King of Yucatecan Trova,” on April 5, 1932. At just 27, the superstar composer was killed during a gunfight right inside the bar. To this day, curious visitors come for the history—and the bar staff claim spirits still linger in the shadows. Impeccable specialty cocktails and wine tastings with Mexican pub grub.
Salón Bach
Delicioso Rotisserie chicken, turkey, suckling pig, wings and other treats. All juicy, all delicious. So much meat on their tacos they say “nuestros tacos no cierran” (“our tacos don’t close”). Prepare for your face to melt with the delicious housemade habanero salsa. Veggie choices available.
Axoli Rosticeria
Bread, Cookies, Pastries, Cakes and the Famous Pan Dulce. There are other bakeries around but this one is the most popular. Grab a tray and tongs to pick your favorites. They’ll wrap them up for you to take them home. They’ll even put it in a box if you want to take some back home. Not included in all access pass.
Panaderia La ideal
Famous for rides on colorful gondolas (trajineras) through waterways lined with floating gardens (chinampas). It’s a vibrant cultural destination with Aztec roots, known for its festive atmosphere, vendors selling food/beverage and the natural habitat of the Axolotl . We’ll stop at the Island of the dead dolls and an axolotl sanctuary. Passage, Food and first drink included in All Access Pass.
Xochimilco Canals
Carmen “Titita” Ramírez Degollado, the “simple cook” who accidentally became a culinary legend! Born in 1940, she learned the magic of Mexican flavors from her mom and nanny—strictly for home-cooked family meals. In 1972, her husband Raúl bought a small carnitas shop in industrial Azcapotzalco. He named it El Bajío but tragically passed away just four years later.
Newly widowed with five kids and zero business training, “Titita” stepped into the kitchen to save the family legacy. She didn’t just stick to pork; she brought her childhood Veracruz recipes and flavors from across Mexico to the table. Now, it’s a massive empire built on pure grit and authentic mole. Join us for brunch and beats!!
